Yes, it filters these contaminants as well as Cyanide, Phosphate, Pesticides, Sodium, Cadmium, Sulfates, among others, up to certain levels. Additional media may be required for high concentrations of these substances.
How often should filters be changed?

Sediment, and Carbon Block Filters should be replaced about every 12 months, while the RO Membrane and Inline Carbon Filter should be replaced every 2-3 years.
This recommended interval should be adjusted by your source water quality. Filters should be changed if noticed a change in taste.
